Percussion Ensemble
An octet featuring members of the LYO and NouLou Chamber Players played Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings at the IUS Ogle Center in 2020.

Additional rehearsals and performances will be added by the coaches based on the needs and preparation of the ensembles.
The Master Artists program is by special audition and is designed for dedicated advanced LYO students to develop their chamber music skills through regular ensemble rehearsals, specifically scheduled coachings, performance opportunities, mentorship, and outreach. In recent years, this program featured a collaboration between LYO and musicians of NouLou Chamber Players. Master Artists enhances student leadership, chamber musicianship, and artistic expression.
There is no additional cost to audition. Simply prepare a 2 minute excerpt of an advanced solo. If accepted, there is a program fee of $180 (2022) to participate.
